74.5 taken at deep backward square! The short ball works for Jamal. Five in a row this over, Warner takes it on again and can't get the distance on this hook shot. Was a bit high for him to control 321/5
29.4 Pakistan finally manages to uncouple the openers! The bowlers get reward for some excellent bowling in this post-lunc session! On a fuller length and gets late away movement outside off, ball takes a faint edge and Sarfaraz takes a very sharp catch as Khawaja starts to take the long walk back into the pavilion. He was caught on the crease and lost his balance while playing away from his body, superb celebration from Shaheen, arms aloft, kisses all around 126/1
37.1 big appeal, and given! Labuschagne has called the review straightaway. There were two noises. Good length, angling in. He's not hit it! Strikes around the knee roll. And it's hitting flush on leg stump. Huge moment 159/2
56.3 Edged and taken by Sarfaraz! It's a sprawling catch from the keeper! Short of a length, nibbling away in the channel, he plays a tentative shot and finds a faint edge. That's the first wicket for the debutant who has bowled really well and deserved a wicket. Smith fails to capitalise on the start and has to go; loosk disconsolate after perishing on 31 as Khurram gets the prized scalp, good breakthrough for Pakistan! 238/3
72.1 taken at third! Over the wicket, short outside off, Head upper cuts straight to the fielder who is some way in off the rope, almost a deep fly slip. Not the first time Head has fallen this way, and in Perth. Maiden Test wicket for Jamal 304/4
110.1 through him! No century for Marsh. Shahzad gets it full at the stumps, hint of shape, he goes for a big drive and the ball zips back between bat and pad. Middle stump knocked back 476/8
96.6 what a ball! Out of nowhere. An unplayable delivery. Angled in at off stump from round the wicket, full length, nips off the seam and takes off stump 411/6
104.5 Doesn't get the lbw in his favour but follows it up with a corker of a delivery, suckered him on a hard length and gets it to shape away just enough to beat his defence, he's once again very accurate with his bowling and sounds the death rattle. Jamal has the last laugh, he was trying to shield his stumps, lunging forward, got a thin edge and it whips off the bails. Crackerjack! 449/7
111.5 edged, taken at slip! Five for Jamal. Short of a length outside off, Cummins forcing off the back foot and it's a neat catch 481/9
113.2 edged, taken at slip again! Jamal finishes with six. Back of a length outside off, very much like Cummins, forcing off the back foot 487/10

36.2 There you go, Australia finally manage to find a breakthrough! Lyon gets the big fish! Tossed up on a length and it straightens a tough just outside leg stump, he advances down the track and is caught by the fielder at short fine, didn't account for the turn and committed early to playing it downtown. And the fielder takes a magnificent catch 74/1
74.4 Oh my word! What have you done Imam? Lapse of concentration and Imam has to go back in the hut. Dances down the track and didn't account for the turn, ball spun away from his blade and he can't get back; Carey quickly whips off the bails. Lyon lures him with the bait and he bites it; gave it lots of flight and got it to grip and bounce; totally flummoxed him 192/5
49.3 caught behind?! Masood drives, huge appeal. Not given. Australia have called the review. Thought there was a noise. Yep, big edge. The captain goes. Driving on the up outside off. Surprised that was not given on field 123/2
53.3 cleaned up! That didn't take long. Full and straight, Shahzad not in line and it takes middle stump 133/3
70.5 Edged and taken! An indecisive poke at the shorter delivery that was nibbling away, commited too early and Carey takes a sprawling low catch diving to his right and making no mistake. This is a massive breakthrough and Australia have got the big wicket. The local boy gets the job done. The ball just kissed the outside edge and he would have better left it alone but just went chasing after it and looked a bit unsure 181/4
86.4 taken at slip! Superb short delivery. Right at the body, got himself into a tangle trying to play it. Loops towards the cordon and Warner backtracks from first slip 230/7
75.4 Clattered the stumps; off stump goes cartwheeling! Starc bowls an incredible delivery on a length that swung back sharply and wrecked the stumps as he tries to flick it away! Crucial breakthrough for Australia. That's some serious pace and bowled fuller to test his defence. Wickets are tumbling and Pakistan in a huge spot of bother just before lunch 195/6

91.2 Banged in short on an awkward chest height and it's a stunning catch from Khawaja at square leg; goes for the pull ,looking a bit ungainly, not on top of the bounce and Khawaja came charging in to pouch that one 241/8
96.6 Oh, that's a cracking delivery! Floated up with lots of revs on the ball, it doesn't spin much and skids through the surface on a line outside off, drew him forward and he got a bit off-balance, keeper whips off the bails in a jiffy. Third umpire will take a look. It's very close. The foot is on the line and I don't think there is anything behind the popping crease but thankfully Michael Gough needs to make this tough decision. And after taking an eternity, umpire deems it OUT and Lyon gets his 499th wicket! A model of consistency; it's a joy to see him show his spin mastery 258/9
101.5 Pulled away in the air, but didn't get all of it! Floated up on middle, Shaheen takes the bait and looks to go big down the ground, Khawaja at mid-on I reckon settles under the skier and pouches it safely. Lyon would have to wait more to get to his elusive milestone of 500 wickets and the crowd sighs as Pakistan lose their last wicket 271/10

0.6 edged, caught behind! A gem of a delivery ends a fantastic first over. In the channel at off stump, Shafique has to play, the ball grazes the edge 2/1
6.4 That looks stone dead and given! Good length, nips back sharply and thunders into the back pad, close to the bat as he tries to get behind the line. Strong appeal and umpire didn't take much time to raise his finger in agreement. Three reds on the screen, crashing middle and another one bites the dust. Pakistan in dire straits Unsuccessful review, he was just hoping against hope and the tourists are collapsing like a house of cards 19/3
5.3 Edged and taken! Another beauty and caught behind! Lovely bowling, probing away and got late away movement, Shan once again flirts with it, poking unnecessarily and gets a faint edge through to the keeper who gobbles it gleefully down his throat. Pakistan in early trouble and Shan looks despondent 17/2
14.6 Edged and taken! That's a well-directed shortish ball on a very tight off-stump line with a hint of wobble, Cummins gets the big fish with this cracking delivery, ball just grazed the outside edge and Carey does the rest - a regulation catch for the keeper. An incredible delivery which is too good for the backbone of Pakistan's batting line-up, it's tough out there! 48/4
30.1 Traps him lbw! Shorter and held its line on middle, looks pretty adjacent and he was pegged back, ball nipping in and tenderises his front pad; they all appeal in unison; the umpire is on the same page. Pitching outside off, impact in line and wickets hitting. Good fight shown by Shakeel but not enough to get through the day 89/9
18.4 Gottim! Shortens his length on an attacking off stump line, gets some extra kick off the deck and it hits him high on the willow, Marsh swallows it up well at gully, reverse cupping it, and Pakistan are staring into the abyss; the resistance is melting away rather quickly as Australia look to complete the job today 56/5
20.6 Botch-up! Awkward rising delivery on middle and leg, tugged away towards fine leg and bit of yes and no in the middle. Total chaos! First Saud said 'aaja' that means 'come' and then backtracked from his call and by then it was way too late, Agha was almost halfway down the track, throw was spot on and Salman watches Saud in disbelief, absolutely gutted by that call. Looks like Saud is not the best when it comes to running between the wickets 63/6
27.1 A prolonged passionate appeal from the players and the crowd! Took the review in the dying moments of the timer. Let's take a look. He leans forward to defend this ball that spins a touch from middle, impact is in line, pitching in line and hitting leg stump so the umpire will have to change his decision. That's 500 Take a bow for the maestro! Lyon has been a rock in this Australian lineup, tormenting many batting line-ups with his spin-bowling mastery. He richly deserves this milestone - a perfect model of consistency and he etches his name in the record books. Hats off to you, Lyon! 79/7
27.5 Lyon bamboozles Jamal with a length delivery and the ball didn't rise at all! feel sorry for Jamal here, that completely died on the turf and raises questions about this pitch. 83/8
