Groundstaff finally taking the last of the covers off the ground and the officials are now inspecting the pitch to see if the damage done by the rain is repairable in time to get a match in!

Rain has slowed down a lot but still no where close to resumption. Lots of water accumulated on the square and a few puddles outside the 30-year circle. We believe the play has to start approximately no later than 5:00 pm local time to get the minimum 20 overs in the second innings for the match to be counted. Good news is we see some blue sky east the stadium - the direction from where the rain was coming in earlier.

Folks, we were supposed to resume the match at 2:42 pm local time with the second innings; however, weather had different plans. Its raining cats and dogs here in Lauderhill right now!
