8.08pm Well, that was lively. Sparky innings from Gunathilaka at the top of the order, Rajapaksa on debut, and Dasun Shanaka in his first outing as captain. But Mohammad Hasnain's unnoticed hat-trick helped to tighten up Pakistan's effort in the closing overs, and turn a 180-plus target to something much more in range.

Deiva Muthu will be here shortly for the second innings. It's all set up very nicely for a Babar / Umar onslaught ... or is it?
