3.44pm: Not a great total for the Brave. That looks a long way short of par, especially at Trent Bridge, but this isn't an easy pitch - the spinners found plenty of purchase - and is unlikely to get any better. Plus, the Brave have one of the best attacks in the tournament. De Lange was the key bowler, taking 5 for 20 and hitting high pace, but Joe Root's spell was also crucial in keeping the brakes on. Ross Whiteley played the only real innings of note, a useful cameo which included a couple of boundaries and a six off Rashid Khan. We'll be back shortly for the chase.

de Lange to Briggs, 1 run, banged in short on the hip, pulled out to deep backward square, and they don't bother trying the second run (which is a pet peeve of mine, what do you have to lose?!)

4
de Lange to Briggs, FOUR, overpitched, low full toss at 91mph, and Briggs jams the bat down at an angle to squeeze it away through backward point for four! Useful boundary from the tailender

de Lange to Garton, OUT, cleans him up, de Lange has a five-for! What a performance from the barrel-chested Saffa. Garton got deep in the crease again and had a pick swing, but this was full and straight and crashed into the stumps. The first-ever Hundred five-for, and it's been a serious performance, hitting high speeds throughout

GHS Garton b de Lange 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

de Lange to Garton, no run, sets himself deep in the crease, but de Lange nails a 93mph yorker! Can't get bat on ball and lost his footing, so no chance of a single

Here comes George Garton, who can give it a real whack.

de Lange to Jordan, OUT, banged in short at 89mph, and Jordan picks out the man on the rope at deep backward square! Jordan has had real problems against the short ball today but takes this one on, and D'Arcy Short doesn't have to move an inch

CJ Jordan c Short b de Lange 16 (14b 1x4 1x6) SR: 114.28

Crucial 50 partnership. De Lange to finish the innings off. Round the wicket

Gregory to Jordan, SIX, banged in short outside off, pulled hard into the leg side. Root runs round to get underneath it on the rope, but can only parry it over the crossbar for six!
