I obviously got on a roll and then just kept it going. The key was just commitment, really. The crowd here is always amazing. Once they got going, I just tried to keep entertaining them. I thought the boys bowled really well. Everyone played a role and stepped up."

9.22pm: Game over. A tight win for Southern Brave, a result which they needed after losing their opener against Trent Rockets. Welsh Fire brought back down to earth after their win over Manchester. Superb from Mills, who didn't concede a boundary in his 20 balls, but Chris Jordan was the match-winner with the bat - a superb 70 not out keeping his side in the contest.

Mills to Willey, OUT, hard length, skied into the off side... tumbling catch by Weatherley, the second sub fielder, at point! Brave celebrate, Willey is down on his haunches! Mills went pace-on and Willey was a touch late on the shot, looking to slap it out into the off side but skewing it up towards point. Weatherley had time to think about it as he set himself and the ball disappeared into the lights... nearly got away from him, as he hung a little too far back, but he fell onto his knees to snaffle it
