5:51pm Right. That will be that from us for this game. In a few minutes, the Oval Invincibles will be taking on the Birmingham Phoenix in another crucial Men's Hundred clash. Head over to our coverage for that game. Until next time, this is goodbye from me (Shashwat) and Ranjith. Take care!

Jamie Overton is the Meerkat Match Hero: Very happy with it. I feel like I have been waiting for that sort of knock for a couple of years now. Nice to go out and get the team in that position. (On the team performance) Obviously it was a good performance. Nice to get over the line and get the win. (On if everything went to plan) We tried to keep picking up wickets and did that throughout our innings. (On how important momentum is) If you can keep winning, it is a nice thing.

5:45pm Well, the result, especially after the two openers fell in quick succession, never looked in doubt. While Banton and Short were there, the hosts might have harboured hopes of hunting down this gargantuan score. Neither, though, had an answer to Usama's dexterity. The leg-spinner ended up picking four wickets and broke the back of the run-chase. Tongue was also tidy, as was Hartley, meaning that the Superchargers, after that initial burst, did not muster any sustained momentum.

the Originals, meanwhile, will be thrilled with how they fared today. Buttler and Salt fell early but Evans came to the party today before Overton took matters into his own hands. Usama continues spinning webs around batters and that, coupled with the variety they have in their bowling attack, means that they could be a hard team to stop if they start gathering a head of steam.

Walter to Topley, FOUR, three fours to finish the game but it is the Originals who win, and do so rather comfortably! Dug in on off stump. Topley continues swinging and slashes it over the keeper's head. Does not impact the result, though, and the Originals go level on points with the Superchargers!

Walter to Rashid, OUT, slower ball deceives Rashid completely, and cleans him up! Off-pace on a length on middle and leg. Rashid does not pick it off the hand and by the time he does, he is too late. Sneaks past the bat and thunders into the stumps. The Originals one wicket away from victory now!
