9.45pm: Never write off Samit, folks. Although I'm sure you weren't going to make that mistake. Rockets take a step closer to the knockouts, Fire have slipped off the pace after winning their opening two. There's another couple of games tomorrow, and we'll of course be back gagging for more. For now, from myself, PDP and Raghav, it's good night. Cheerio!

9.40pm: Classy stuff from Samit "Slam it" Patel, whose 46 from 20 balls iced a potentially tricky chase. Had Payne's dismissal of Gregory stood, things might have been interesting, with 25 still needed from 15... but the no-ball just brought the target closer, and Patel finished it in style. Wahab Riaz's four-for played an important part, too, as Rockets win their fourth match out of five and go top of the table

Samit Patel is the Hero of the Match: "It was pretty good, we restricted them really well [with the ball]. The batters got off to a good start and we kept going. Play strong shots and be positive. [Timeout plan?] We knew we'd target the ten balls from this end and try to kill the game, worked well. Good to get some momentum and go four from five."

Milnes to Patel, SIX, finishes with a moose down the ground for six! Full toss from Milnes and Patel just bludgeons it over long-on - Rockets win by six wickets, with room to spare in the end

Milnes to Gregory, FOUR, full, wide and smoked through extra cover! Milnes goes around the park and this chase is almost done

Milnes to Gregory, SIX, picked up and deposited over deep square! Slower ball, I think, but Gregory sets himself, fetched into the leg side
