3.37pm: Some effort from England's hastily-assembled reserve side. Saqib Mahmood was brilliant with the new ball, taking two wickets with the first three balls of the innings and really setting the tone. He ended up with 4 for 42, and the rest of the attack all chipped in too, with Overton and Parkinson taking two each, Gregory getting one with the new ball, and Vince running Maqsood out. Brydon Carse impressed too, despite being the most expensive bowler: he hit 90mph several times, banging the ball into the pitch. Restart at 4.05pm

More gold from Sampath: This is only the second time England had 4+ wicket hauls in four consecutive ODIs (Woakes, SCurran+Willey, TCurran, Mahmood). The other such streak was against Australia at home in 2018. In 23 ODIs before the current streak, England had just one player taking 4+ wicket haul - David Willey 5/30 vs Ireland last year."

Aaliya Sohail: "Chances of Rain... Wondering Fan.... " -- Very low!

Dinesh: "Kusal Perera is the happiest man on the earth now" -- Mickey Arthur probably runs him close. Plus, KJP hasn't had such a great day...

Sampath tells me this is the first time England have bowled a team out for below 150 in an ODI since Ireland in 2017.

"Really happy," Mahmood tells Sky. "Opportunities are hard to come by in this side so to get the opportunity and take it like I did today, very happy. You haven't had much time to think about it, which is probably a good thing - you just crack on and luckily for the boys, we've gone well so far. [PSL helped?] I guess so. Having bowled at these guys and got some of them out before, it gives you a bit of confidence coming into the game. [Pitch?] A bit of movement with the new ball but as it got older, the wicket got better. [First ball?] You get one out the way early, it settles the nerves a bit."

Overton to Shaheen Shah Afridi, OUT, Shaheen goes again, clearing the front leg and swinging from the hip, and picks out mid-off this time, where Stokes stands tall and takes a simple chance. Pakistan bowled out for 141.

England's third drop, with Malan and Simpson the other culprits.

Overton to Shaheen Shah Afridi, 2 runs, length ball, hacked miles up into the air, and Parky spills it running back at mid-on! He's worked hard on his fielding but this was a pretty simple chance which should have been taken. Went miles up as Shaheen cleared the front leg but Parkinson never looked comfortable underneath it

Carse to Shaheen Shah Afridi, 1 run, extra bounce, fended away through the vacant area at gully, comfortably out of backward point's reach. Shaheen shaped to steer this to leg but it got bit on him, and he fenced it away from the grille via the shoulder of the bat

Overton to Shadab Khan, OUT, back of a length, pulled straight down Malan's throat at deep square leg! That's the gameplan at Cardiff: bang it into the pitch to take the short straight boundaries out of the game and force them to hit it to the bigger square boundaries. Shadab dragged the pull from outside off stump but didn't get a clean enough connection, and Malan barely had to move an inch on the rope! Cross-seamer, off the toe of the bat
