Well one can say 269 is a decent score after losing four early wickets. The debutant Shamrah Brooks and Pollard stitched a 149 run stand for the fifth wicket which put West Indies back in the business. Early on, McBrine took two quick wickets of Pooran and Chase in two consecutive overs and the Irish bowlers kept things tight for most part of the game. Pollard and Brooks cashed in on some loose deliveries and produced some hefty blows. Mark Adair and Craig Young bagged three scalps a piece, Little and Campher kept the opposition in check. Do joins us in 20 mins time for the chase. On the other side of the story - Ireland took nearly four hours to finish their quota.
HMody: "Smith's smacking is going to be the difference I say! "
Ashis: "As a cricket fan and being based in Singapore, this game is gonna keep me up for sometime. WI vs IRE, followed by NZ vs Ban followed by Day 5 of the Ashes. Looking forward to Sunday"
Hitesh: "Pitch has got considerably easier to bat on as we noticed during the pollard brookes partnership. This should be a tight chase with the deep Irish batting."
