Kyle Jamieson has played a lovely little gem. His arrival at the crease helped New Zealand push their run-rate and took the pressure off Kane Williamson, who until then was the only batsman capable of scoring quickly. When you rack up 251 in a Test match, chances are you're in irrepressible form. Who knew that was possible when he hadn't played any first-class cricket in nine months?!
Brett Turner: "@Kapil Baldawa, again, know your cricket please. NZ know their pitches, weather etc. They have played this game before and have a look at the record they have at home these past few years. This match is going to plan."
Paul : "@Kapil Baldawa - 3.57 to slow for you? Also lets see how WI bat, NZ have done pretty well at bat once bowl them out twice."
Sarah : "Absolutely tied up here. I'm West Indian but I'm over here cheering for Kane and for jamieson "
Craig: "Jamieson looking to be the next long term allrounder. He seems to have the batting pedigree (apparently opened the batting at high school until he had a growth spurt). Awesome prospect. Oh yeah, well batted Kane too."
Kapil Baldawa: "Those who are going gaga, yes great innings but NZ definitely behind in the game. Don't see them getting WI out twice in this reasonably good deck. Should have declared at Tea as 470 / 530 hardly makes any difference but couple of wickets of WI overnight means a lot more, especially with bad forecast for Day 5"
