Shoaib Malik: "Well, it's a great effort and last game which we scored 240, the pitch was different, but today it wasn't that kind of a pitch where you can play through the lines. You have to put in more effort. I'd be more pleased if I can hit more sixes and I've been working on it. That's the missing part of my batting. I hope I can add more boundaries. Most important thing is I'm enjoying it [running between the wickets] and it's helping the team as well."

But Shoaib Malik along with first Samarawickrama and then his skipper Perera helped the Kings finish strong. Perera, with his 29 off 13, of course really gave them the impetus they needed at the death.
