Catch us for the Ireland chase in ten, as the hosts seek early momentum in the series. Remember they beat South Africa handsomely in the second ODI - and it's not a huge score to chase today - so the hosts will be confident of inflicting yet another upset.

GBBG: "Whatever RSA do in T20is, they end up with a total in the mid 160s?" --- They still managed to win three out of their last four T20Is with those scores.

Admal: "@Nirmal, he did better, four 4's in 4 balls!"

Burhan: "@Himanshu, You hit the Bulls Eye, Kudos!!" --- Bingo, Burhan!

5.33pm So 17 runs from Rabada in the final over pushes South Africa to 165, which, I believe, they would think would be at least 25 short. First Bavuma and de Kock got off to a flier, and then Miller and Markram seemed set to up the ante, but credit to Adair, Simi and Little to put the brakes on the visitors.

1
Adair to Rabada, 1 run, pushes to deep square leg, and finishes off a big over for his side. Good length ball on middle and leg, and he slapped that away to round off the innings
19.5
0
Adair to Rabada, no run, goes for the heave again, but is beaten by the lack of place. Clears his front leg to this full and wide ball of off, but can't get bat on ball this time
19.4
4
Adair to Rabada, FOUR, four in a row! Slower ball on a shortish length on leg, and pulled away to deep square to the right of the man at fine leg as he rides the the bounce with the ball coming into him. That was nice execution despite being almost cramped for room
19.3
4
Adair to Rabada, FOUR, and that's the hat-trick! Another very full ball on leg, and he drills this past the bowler for four by stepping away outside leg. Long-on runs to his right, but that was hit pretty powerfully and also wide of him
19.2
4
Adair to Rabada, FOUR, hoicks this between long-on and deep midwicket this time. Very full ball on middle, and he slams that by clearing his front leg. Crucial runs for South Africa here
19.1
4
Adair to Rabada, FOUR, low full-toss on off, and he lifts that powerfully by opening the bat face and finds the gap between deep point and long-off

Nirmal : "Rabada will hit two sixes in last over "

Little to Rabada, 1 run, swings across the line, but only a single to deep midwicket again. Fullish ball outside of off, and couldn't get any connection on his heave
18.5
1
Little to Williams, 1 run, fullish ball on off, and tucked to deep midwicket. The keeper fumbles the throw, but no extra run conceded
18.4
1
Little to Rabada, 1 run, yorker length on middle and off, and jammed to deep midwicket. Quick throw at the keeper's end means only a single can be taken
18.3
0
Little to Rabada, no run, beaten on his slash. Fullish length just outside off, and he swings his bat to that but can't get anything there
18.2
1
Little to Williams, 1 run, good length ball on middle, and pushes the batter back in his crease as he clips that to deep square leg

Williams in at No. 9. Little over the wicket

W
Little to Miller, OUT, edged behind, and South Africa's push at the death probably comes to an end. Slower ball on a full length just outside off, and Miller tries to half-heave-half-slash at that by making room and standing on leg stump. But he gets an outside edge as he loses his bottom hand from what seemed like he was late to that shot. There was a brief scare for Ireland when the umpire wanted to check Little's front foot again, but he's all good in the end

DA Miller c †Tucker b Little 28 (38m 21b 3x4 0x6) SR: 133.33

Anyone for 165 here?

1
Adair to Miller, 1 run, yorker length on off, and whipped to long-on for a single yet again

Rabada is the new man, but will be the non-striker since the batters had crossed

17.5
W
Adair to Linde, OUT, taken at long-off. Another slower ball on off, and Linde goes for the slog straight down the wicket, but can only manage to keep it hanging in the air for a long time, as the ball ends in Simi's hands on the boundary. A brilliant over only getting better for Ireland

GF Linde c Simi Singh b Adair 10 (16m 13b 1x4 0x6) SR: 76.92

Just four runs so far in the 18th

17.4
1
Adair to Miller, 1 run, very full on off, and dragged to long-off's left. Only a single possible there
17.3
1
Adair to Linde, 1 run, excellent variation by Adair. A slower-ball bouncer on off, and the ball takes off only to take ages to come to the batter, who is hit on his arm while he tries to pull. The ball trickles to the off side to allow a leg bye
17.2
1
Adair to Miller, 1 run, high full-toss on off, and Miller only ramps that to deep point. A definite chance to slog that away missed out
17.1
1
Adair to Linde, 1 run, direct hit at the bowler's end could have been close. Change of pace on a full length on off, and helped to cover, who throws back in a hurry but doesn't hit

Adair back. Around the wicket

Little to Linde, 1 leg bye, low full-toss on his pads, as he misses his clip toward square leg with the keeper giving the chase this time after the ball takes his pad instead
16.5
1
Little to Miller, 1 run, yorker on leg to hit back. Inswinging ball to Miller, as he is cramped while flicking to long leg from the bottom of the bat. Good comeback by Little
16.4
4
Little to Miller, FOUR, now bisects short third man and point. Waits for this back-of-the-hand ball on good length on off to come to him, and he lofts that late and also close to his body for another four
16.3
4
Little to Miller, FOUR, clipped between long-on and deep midwicket. This was a full ball on middle and off, and was angling in as well as he flicked it with his front leg slightly out of the way

Over the wicket to Miller too

16.2
1
Little to Linde, 1 run, good length ball on off, and he skips a little in the crease to push that to covers
