3.52pm That's not a great score for India after the kind start Shafali Verma gave them with her 48. But she and Mandhana fell quickly after the fifty stand, Knight rotated her bowlers very well and didn't give the India batters a chance to settle down at all. India changed the order today with Harmanpreet at No. 3 and Deepti at 4, but that doesn't seem to have worked well for Deepti, who crawled her way to 24 off 27 while searching for boundaries. Harmanpreet kind of found her touch but some smart bowling from England, especially an economical spell from Ecclestone stifled them to 148. Defending here won't be easy, Knight said at the toss, and we'll find out about that soon with Alan.

Shafali Verma: Was not thinking much and just playing my own game, trying to stay confident. I was just trying to play good shots. I am pretty sure our bowlers will do a good job. (Will she bowl anytime soon?) Not yet, maybe at some point (laughs)

Amey Mhatre: "Given the hitting power of Sneh Rana, she should have been sent much earlier in the middle order to keep the run rate up."

Reju: "27 balls 1 four in a T20 death is not enough."
