Pakistan's highest 2nd innings score is 265, they'll need to find a new second if they are to win today. Join us to see the unfolding action helps us find out if they can.
Harshitha Madavi: I'm very happy, first 50 has me joyed. I am in good form having gotten this on the back of 42. I enjoyed playing with my captain, who supported me well. Our bowlers are good, I think the score is good.
Pakistan could not find wickets, an issue they have previously faced. But the pacers hit lengths consistently at the top. The spinners kept it slow, they managed to find spin and surprisingly, extra bounce, at times when they looped it up. Harshitha's scoring was dried up for a while but her returns were voluminous, as her first ODI 50 was converted to 75. After the 40th over mark, there was some restriction but the lower-middle-order swung their bats as much as they could and managed to squeeze out 40 of the 59 runs in the latter-half to get the score to 260.
12:50 pm: Sri Lanka finally set things with the right and it was inspired, as often is the case, by Captain Athapaththu at the top. After an early run out, it seemed history would repeat but Athapaththu and Harshitha managed to play out a few overs. The aggression didn't start for 8-9 overs but once Athapaththu got going, there was no looking back. She shuffled across, scored in all directions, the aerial shots were magnificent as was her charged celebration on getting to the milestone.
