4.52pm A hat-trick of fours, as part of a 23-run over, means that New Zealand have put on quite an imposing total. Remember, the average first-innings total is in the 150s. Neesham finishes on a 15-ball 33, Holder ends up with an economy of 10.50. But don't forget the Williamson acceleration that gave NZ the back-end momentum with his 47. And the Conway powerplay effort that helped him make 43 in 29 balls. West Indies looked solid after the rain break with McCoy, Smith and Holder taking the pace off, but the hosts just couldn't close their bowling innings well. We'll be back with the chase very soon.
Andrew: "Again WI unable to close innings off and not getting it all right "
Krishna : "Damn neesh. That was some innings. "
PD: "31 runs off the last 8 legal balls - may be the difference between a fighting total and one that is well out of reach for the Windies!"
