Here's the man of the moment, Glenn Phillips: West Indies made it tough early on and to get to 215 was great. Our blueprint is a simple one as we take on things, the way we induce it. The way Devon (Conway) takes on Hayden (Walsh) and the way I take on the pacers . It was a little slower today, so hopefully we can do that as well. The slower balls are going to be key and hopefully Santner, Ish and Bracewell can get something out of it.

3:13pm Just eight runs off the final over but that does not stop New Zealand from piling on 215 for 5. This is the highest total on this ground and the highest total by a visiting team in the Caribbean. West Indies started well with Obed McCoy removing Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill in an over but Glenn Phillips was brutal during his 41-ball 76 alongside Daryl Mitchell who smashed a 20-ball 48. West Indies were all over the place and it will take something exceptional for them to chase this total down.
