Himanshu will bring you the chase.

3.07pm The West Indies players are high-fiving each other, but most of them are congratulating Obed McCoy for his six-for. Picked up Rohit and Suryakumar early, then returned to remove Jadeja, DK, Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar. West Indies favourites going into the break.

A muddled batting approach from India. They started off aggressively but the wickets through the first ten overs meant they never had a partnership that could really explode. Hardik struggled to a 31-ball 31 and Jadeja took 30 balls to make 27. Pant's 12-ball 24 the only positive of sorts.

sagar: "Left arm pacers are India's kryptonite. Surely they will get certain advantage on certain pitches but I can bet the list of Amir, Shaheen, Boult, Topley isn't going to stop at McCoy, and it will hurt more on bigger tournaments."

As for West Indies, they will be wary that there is some extra bounce here so the Indian quicks (remember they are playing an extra seamer) could pose some trouble of their own. But knowing the target beforehand will mean that they approach the 2nd innings quite differently from how India did today.

Hrushikesh : "56 in powerplay and 82 in the last 82 balls. WestIndies will be mighty pleased"
Gaurav: "A good anchor with the same scoreline would have meant 180 on the board."

Obed McCoy: Great feeling, I've been working very hard. Great feeling to do it against a top side like India. Have been thinking with a clear mind. You assess the conditions, ground, wind, and bowl accordingly. (Intimidation on small grounds) It can be, but I clear my mind and review my plans. (Sixth wicket) When it passed the batter, I heard something but wasn't sure. I was just waiting, hoping."

Holder to Avesh Khan, OUT, middle stump rattled! Yorker on middle. Avesh backed away but couldn't get his bat down in time thereafter. India all out for 138

Avesh Khan b Holder 8 (8m 4b 0x4 1x6) SR: 200.00

1
Holder to Arshdeep Singh, 1 run, another slower ball. Almost a yorker wide outside off. Arshdeep just goes with the motions trying to get bat on ball, and swipes a shot by reaching out. Ball in the air, but lands at mid off where nobody is present

1w
Holder to Arshdeep Singh, 1 wide, around the stumps. Full and wide, outside the tram-lines. Tried the slower ball too

short third and backward point for Arshdeep.

Big Mike : "An innings of 2 halves. 1st full on aggression, 2nd fear and trepidation. Wonder what the the Windies will bring. Outstanding from McCoy."

Andrew: "As a WI fan seeing McCoy come through the ranks, he's put in the hard work and glad to see him reaping the benefits "

1
Holder to Avesh Khan, 1 run, back of a length, on off, slower ball. Avesh swivels and clatters a swipe to deep square leg

6
Holder to Avesh Khan, SIX, Avesh is here to play! Fullish just outside off stump. Avesh backs away and uses the power in his arms to slap a six over the long-off boundary! Fairly safe with mid-off on the circle.

Any runs that come from the tenth-wicket partnership is a bonus. WI will want to keep India down to 135. Holder, the experienced Holder, will bowl the final over.

6 for 17 for McCoy, best ever figures by a WI bowler in T20Is.

McCoy to Kumar, OUT, is that a sixth? Keeper goes up, but McCoy isn't interested. Nonetheless, WI review. Length ball on middle, and shaping away from the batter as he looks to defend. Ball whizzes past the outside edge, but it's so close that it is very much a possibility that it has taken a feather touch. And yessss, there's a thin outside edge! McCoy started his spell with a wicket, ends his spell with a wicket. Super six!

1
McCoy to Avesh Khan, 1 run, length ball just outside leg. Pace taken off. Clipped to midwicket
18.4
W
McCoy to Ashwin, OUT, proving to be the real McCoy! Fullish outside off, and he tries to carve a drive behind square. Hitting against the breeze means it's going to need a lot more power to clear the boundary, and Ashwin perishes attempting that. Sharp catch at deep backward point from Smith, who takes a tumble thereafter, but ensures he stays inside the line

R Ashwin c Smith b McCoy 10 (12m 6b 2x4 0x6) SR: 166.66

Ankush sud: "No comments now on the aggressive approach?England has been all out in 7 of the last 10 completed ODIs and T20s.It is good to be aggressive, but not over "

1
McCoy to Kumar, 1 run, slower ball, almost a yorker on off. Ends up as a low full toss, and pushed to mid on

McCoy to Kumar, no run, full and wide outside off. Bhuvi reaches out but can't get any connection. Through to the keeper, and just inside the wide line
18.1
W
McCoy to Karthik, OUT, that's a four-for for Obed! Short-ish ball on middle and off. DK gets inside the line of the ball to play a cute paddle-pull over short fine leg. But it's not off the bat's sweet spot, and the fielder at short fine runs to his left to take a catch

KD Karthik c Joseph b McCoy 7 (21m 13b 0x4 0x6) SR: 53.84

Smith to Ashwin, FOUR, lucky four but Ashwin will take 'em. Batter backs away before Smith delivers the ball. Bowler follows him with a yorker outside leg stump. But Ashwin's wild swing of the bat gets an inside-edge, and this has run away to fine leg for four
17.5
1
Smith to Karthik, 1 run, full on his toes in front of off stump. Flicked to square leg for one. WI won't mind this, especially off Odean's overs
17.4
0
Smith to Karthik, no run, fullish ball on middle, and angling down the leg side while DK misses the flick. But wide not given, did it graze something? Karthik thought it should've been a wide.
17.3
1
Smith to Ashwin, 1 run, good length ball angling into Ashwin, and he tucks this off his hips to mid on's right for one

First boundary in five overs.

17.2
4
Smith to Ashwin, FOUR, this time he gets the four by cutting it over point! Width offered, length ball, and Ashwin is tall enough to get on top of that delivery.

Kumar: "16.4 - how did Karthik take strike after Jadeja got out ? The new batsman needs to take strike right ? " -- That rule comes into play after October (for ICC games). The IPL has already added it though.

17.1
0
Smith to Ashwin, no run, play and miss. Short of length outside off, and Ashwin can't connect with the cut.

Karthik's strike-rate is 60. He will have to get a move on without getting out...

McCoy to Karthik, no run, another tidy over. Full just outside off. Karthik gets down on one knee to clobber a big shot over the leg side. But ends up inside-edging the shot onto his body
16.5
1
McCoy to Ashwin, 1 run, full on off and worked off his pads to the leg side near midwicket for one

Nitin: "Left armer pacers are India's nemesis" -- Every team struggles against left-arm pace. They just don't play enough against that type of variation. Data suggests so.

16.4
1
McCoy to Karthik, 1 run, drilled down the ground to long off. Powell runs around to ensure it remains just a single
16.3
W
McCoy to Jadeja, OUT, looks good for six? Nooo, holes out! That's wicket No. 3 for McCoy. Fullish just outside off, but Jadeja expected a full-pace ball. Instead it was the slower one, and he hasn't timed it well even though the shot looked good in real time. Powell gets under it at long on, and takes it some 20 feet inside the boundary line

RA Jadeja c Powell b McCoy 27 (45m 30b 0x4 1x6) SR: 90.00
