12.27pm India were 95 for 1 after 10 overs. Scored 93 more in the back ten. West Indies will know this is a tough total but very gettable. Odean finishes with three wickets, conceding just 18 in his last three overs after being hit for 15 in his first over. Holder was tidy too for his first three overs.
As for India, that 46-ball 76-run stand for the second wicket between Shreyas and Hooda made it seem like India would breach 200. But that lightning break and some smart bowling from the Windies in the back end sucked the momentum out of India's death-overs charge. Hardik and DK did smack it around a bit, but India will know they've left some runs out there. Nonetheless, this has the potential to be a match-winning total so perhaps we are nitpicking.
Here's Shreyas Iyer: "When you play for India, you have to be flexible. When you get the opportunity you have to make the most of it. I knew yesterday I was going to open. When Deepak came in to bat, he showed intent from first ball. That's what you want to see. Runs from both ends help. Showe versatility, he is also flexible. (Target in mind?) Yesterday also we played on this wicket, and we thought around 180 would be a good total because the wicket has got slower. The slower balls are stopping a lot, two-paced now. (Confident of defending?) Seeing the bowling line up and past games, we have faith and belief in our bowlers."
Manthan Jain: "DK career divided in 3 splits: first pre 2010s 100 runs at 16 striking at 113. then dropped. next late 2017 to early 2019s 299 runs at 50 striking at 184. then 2022 192 runs at 21 striking at 133......"

Hardik was running to the dugout but then turns and comes back to have a quick chat with Axar about strategy. Here's Kuldeep, non striker's.
