Chris Lynn played a spellbinding knock of 63 runs after Giants got into a spot of bother early on. Just like the start, Vipers finished the innings well with a couple of superb last overs that kept a lid on the score. It's a tricky surface that has 3mm grass, offering some swing and creating difficulties for the batters. Cox got a start but wasn't able to tee off in the middle overs. Giants should not be disappointed by the effort in these conditions; it might well be a challenging total, but it all depends on whether they can match the likes of Shaheen, Amir, and Hasaranga.

Shaheen Afridi was magnificent in his first game and he paired up with Mohammad Amir as the duo was spot on with their bowling plans. Hasaranga only conceded 26 runs in his quota of overs and stemmed the run-flow effectively. Stay tuned for the chase starting shortly

Mohammad Amir to Usman Khan, 1 run, Finishes the over well, follows him as he shmmies down leg and he ends up pressing it down to long off for a run as Giants finish on 160/6. Would that be enough?

Mohammad Amir to Usman Khan, no run, clever change of pace and he inverses his stance to guide it behind square but he only grabs fresh air

Mohammad Amir to Usman Khan, FOUR, fumble at deep midwicket leaks a boundary and Amir is not happy at all, that was hit with a lot of force but it was very ordinary effort in the outfield
