Warriors don't make it the full 20 overs and it's been a poor performance. Some ordinary shots and not adjusting to the slowness of the pitch. Whenever they got any semblance of control, Warriors promptly picked a wicket to stay on top. Watt applied the brakes in the powerplay with his unique spin wizardry and then it was Theekshana who took four wickets and only conceded 20 runs with 12 dots. Watt leaked only 15 and bowled 14 dots in his tight spell. They never allowed Capitals to break free and this bowling attack seemed perfectly suited to conditions in Sharjah. Theekshana has leapfrogged Trent Boult in the leading wicket-takers' column. I'll be back for the chase shortly

Woakes to Akif Raja, OUT, Rams the yorker on off, tapped to cover-point, Denly smashes a throw, hit's the bull's eye and has got Akif run-out at the non-striker's end! That is a sad sight for Capitals as they bundle out for 104; this has been a no show with the bat

Akif Raja run out 3 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 42.85

DaWolf: "@Yoel - Powell is a very hit or miss kind of player. He can hit sixes but he's also very likely to just give his wicket away on another day." And he likes pace on the ball so he wouldn't have enjoyed batting in these conditions

Sams to Akif Raja, 1 run, Daniel Sams has dropped a sitter! Good length on fourth stumps line, swung with gusto across the line and got it wrong, Sams got underneath it but couldn't clung on, he didn't keep his eye till the very last second I reckon

Sams to Sikandar Raza, OUT, Round the wicket, pitched up on middle and leg, gets down low to it and tries to pummel him over deep extra cover but the bat turned in his hand and Cadmore swoops to his left like a dolphin gambooling in the sea, Raza is livid with himself, it was in his hitting zone but he was camped deep and just couldn't time it that well

Sams to Sikandar Raza, no run, Dishes out a full-bunger on middle, larrups it over Sam's head but got the cue-end and it holds up close to long on, bat has been damaged and we'll have little pause, Oh, there was an edge but nobody appealed so that's that and Sams cannot believe it!

Sams to Sikandar Raza, SIX, THAT'S HUGE! That was screaming six as soon as it hit his bat, that has been clubbed out of the park into the busy roads and that ball is not coming back. He got right underneath it and hit it as hard as humanly possible!

Yoel: "What an underwhelming tournament for Powell so far"
