8.10pm: It's a competitive score, but quite a lot fewer than Vipers looked like getting at one stage. They raced to 80 for 1 after the powerplay and were 116 for 3 from 11, but managed to score 55 for 4 from the last nine. Spin was key to the Dubai Capitals' fightback, with Sikandar Raza and Haider Ali both impressive. Raza is happy enough at halfway: "Runs were flowing, we knew we needed to get a wicket or two. Roelof [van der Merwe] started the whole thing, then Haider and I came on and held the game together. The wicket is still good, we bowled really well to restrict them. Hopefully we can have a good start in the powerplay and try to win the game from there." Andrew Miller will be here for the chase shortly
Vipers slow tailspin towards 20 overs continues. Rohan Mustafa walks in at No.9
MA Jones c Shanaka b Kuggeleijn 20 (21m 20b 1x4 1x6) SR: 100.00
Kuggeleijn will bowl the 20th. Sounds like Roelof van der Merwe, who had an over left, has now got a back problem
