11.14am Jacks leads England off the field, beaming from ear to ear while waving his ball to the crowd. Six wickets in a debut that he learnt about two minutes before the toss! And he only starting bowling full-time for Surrey last season... quite the tale, as Vish related last night.

What does this mean for the match situation? Well, it's taken about 20 overs to get these final three wickets. And given that 75-80 is about the most you can milk from any given day, and that England will surely need 100 to give themselves any chance of taking ten wickets, a quick bit of maths suggests they've got a maximum of 40, maybe 50 at a pinch, to reinflate this lead. If they go at their first-innings rate, we could be looking at 350 in 100 by tea? Or, alternatively, they fall in a heap while trying to go big, and open the door for Pakistan in a more conventional chase!

Jacks to Zahid Mahmood, OUT, big appeal for the stumping! Mahmood was lining up the reverse sweep, Pope gathered slightly clumsily but got his hands to the stumps quickly enough. The toe made no effort to move back into the crease... but was it out in the first place? I'd say there's a stud at best behind the line... this could go either way to be honest.
