6.06 So an Afghanistan innings that started much like that in the first ODI, with the top order running riot - particularly the once more excellent Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who scored 68 off 74 - ended in a quite a contrasting manner. From a commanding 135 for 1 they were bowled out for 228, losing their last 9 wickets for just 93 runs! As the wicket slowed, the Sri Lankan spinners came into the game and began to throttle proceedings. The pressure eventually told as the Afghan middle and lower order folded rather meekly in the ended. There is however rain on the horizon, with the innings ending amid a light drizzle.
