India fell way behind the way over rate, so the chase will begin only around 6pm local time. Anyway, 269 is by far the highest score batting first this series. Join Monga to see where this goes, as the teams seek a series win.

RK: "270 - classic 50-over score. Will be an interesting chase!"

Kuldeep Yadav speaks after his three wickets: "I played the India A series here, so I knew the wicket was slow. I really enjoyed that ball [which got Carey]. I have been working on it: just bowl on the middle-and-leg line, and from there, if I can spin the ball, there can be a top edge. I was getting good drift, and bowling a lot of seam-up deliveries. The way Marsh had started, we thought [they would get] 300. But it's a slow track, so we have to bat carefully."

Richard: "The 22 runs added by the last pair could be the difference. I thought 250 would be competitive, and they've taken it further. Game on!"

5.35pm Are Australia about 30 short? Or have they got 30 more than what they should have from one stage? Everyone except Smith got into double figures - scores of the others in the top seven were all from 23 to 47 - and that is exactly where Australia fell short. Warner, Labuschagne and Stoinis went for big shorts despite being well settled, when the pitch didn't really allow big hits. But credit to Pandya, who kept banging it in, and also Kuldeep, whose sharp turn - recall that Carey wicket - tightened things up.

Mohammed Siraj to Starc, OUT, now finds Jadeja at deep backward square leg! I am not sure if Jadeja was a step or two further behind than what he was when that six was hit earlier in the over; he seemed a bit wider too. Nevertheless, Siraj went for the bouncer outside off again, as Starc swung his bat to pull that away. He rode the bounce too, and timed that well, only for Jadeja to go low and grab that

Mohammed Siraj to Zampa, 1 leg bye, hit on his pad, as the ball angles down off a shortish length to end around leg. Leg bye as it trickles away

Mohammed Siraj to Starc, SIX, just over deep backward square leg's head! Short delivery outside off, and Starc took his front leg out of the way to slam that pull. He is a tall guy, so bowlers will need that extra bounce to trouble him

Andrew: "Is this a really slow over rate? Seems to be well over" --- Ideally, the chase should have begun 15 minutes from now

Mohammed Siraj to Starc, no run, a swish at this length ball angling across to end on fifth stump. Off the inside half of the bat to midwicket

Lucas: "Get a start and get out, is this purely Aussie madness, or is it a pitch that a batter never feels settled on?" --- A bit of both. Batters can settle on this pitch, but they need to give themselves time

Mohammed Siraj to Agar, OUT, gifted to deep midwicket! But that had made a lovely sound off the bat. Siraj went with a bouncer - something which Hardik also does so often - in the later stages of the match, as the ball climbed quite high to end round about on off. Agar got on top of the ball and pulled with a crisp sound, but there wasn't great timing there, as he seemed to have taken his eyes off the ball too
