9:17pm The Orcas did not quite get the momentum they were after at the end but have a healthy total on the board nonetheless. Nauman and Jayasuriya set the tone in the powerplay after the early departure of de Kock. Klaasen then dominated the middle overs, notching up a fifty and putting the Orcas on their way to a 170-plus total. Hetmyer, too, played his part, with Ranjane getting a couple of boundaries away at the end.

Funnily enough, the Unicorns will also be pleased with where they are at. At one stage, it looked like the Orcas would get more than 180. The last two overs, though, only produced 16 runs and that might have wrestled back a bit of momentum. Rauf, Plunkett and Shadab were a little more wayward than usual but le Roux and Stoinis did well to keep the run-flow in check. They would have ideally wanted to chase a lower score but with the firepower at their disposal, they might be quietly confident of hunting this down. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!

Heinrich Klaasen: (On the surface) The wicket was pretty good at the start and then it got tougher. The slower balls are just starting to grip. Normal stroke-play got harder and we had to use our experience. Not easy to start for a new batter. We have got ourselves a really good score. (On what they have to concentrate on with the ball) Execution. The new ball is crucial. Hopefully we can pick up wickets in the powerplay.

Haris Rauf to Ranjane, FOUR, shot! Very full delivery on middle and leg stump but this seems to land just short of the yorker. Ranjane lays back in his crease and shovels it to long on's right for four!

Haris Rauf to Hetmyer, 1 run, slower delivery on a length outside off. Hetmyer loses his shape completely and drags it towards long on

Stoinis to Ranjane, FOUR, no, he cannot! Full and wide again. Ranjane, rather than trying to muscle it, waits for the ball, opens his bat face and knives it past backward point

This has been an excellent over so far. Can Stoinis finish it off well?

Stoinis to Hetmyer, no run, slower delivery on a length on leg stump. Hetmyer walks across and tries the lap. Has no pace to work with, though, and can only toe-end it towards the keeper. Lets out a squeal of anguish too

Plunkett to Klaasen, OUT, holes out to deep mid wicket! Another off-pace delivery on a back of a length just outside off. Klaasen tries to clear the longer deep mid wicket fence but this ball is so slow that it meddles with his timing. Shanks it in the end and Tajinder completes an easy catch on the fence!
