Commentator: Shashwat Kumar

9:17pm Right. That will be a wrap from us for this game. It promised so much, especially at the half-way stage but soon meandered towards a one-sided contest, although that was down to how clinical the Capitals were. Tomorrow, the Paarl Royals will be in action and they will clash against the Sunrisers Eastern Cape, currently placed second and hoping to keep pace with the Capitals. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of everyone at ESPNcricinfo! Goodbye, goodnight and take care!

9:14pm A fairly comfortable victory for the Capitals in the end. MI Cape Town never really got going and the only time they looked to be in the contest in the second innings was when Brevis was at the crease. Once the youngster departed, van der Dussen could not take up the mantle and his 25-ball 24 did their chances more harm than good. The rest of the middle order also looked thin, and with the likes of Nortje and Parnell firing on all cylinders, MI Cape Town were, quite frankly, blown away.

Parnell also deserves plenty of praise for how he handled his resources. The gamble to bring Jacks on worked a charm, as did the ploy to persist with Rashid, despite him conceding 18 runs in his opening over. The Capitals, in short, won all the moments that mattered tonight and now sit comfortably atop the points table.

Parnell to Rabada, OUT, that will be that! The Capitals win, and they pick up a bonus point! Full toss slanted into middle and off stump. It seems that Rabada is not expecting that length and is late on the stroke. The ball whistles past the bat and then leaves the stumps in an almighty mess!

Nortje to Rabada, 1 run, length delivery on off stump. Rabada backs away and drives it on the up towards extra cover for a single

Nortje to Rabada, no run, sharp bumper on middle and leg stump. Rabada is taken aback by it and fends it towards the bowler. No looseners to his South Africa teammate!

MI Cape Town are nine down now, with Rabada the last man in. Can Nortje finish it off in this over?

Nortje to Archer, OUT, straight to mid off! Three for Nortje! Back of a length delivery outside off stump that rushes onto Archer. He tries to muscle it over mid off but because he can't complete his swing, he ends up hitting it straight down Parnell's throat!

Nortje to Potgieter, 1 run, back of a length delivery on leg stump. Potgieter gets up on his toes and dabs it towards backward point for a single

If the Capitals restrict MI Cape Town to 145 or less, they will win by a bonus point

Nortje to Archer, 1 run, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Archer has a swipe at it and clogs it over the bowler's head for a single. Archer might not die wondering, you feel
