While 131 may look a touch on the light side for a final, it is exactly what Sixers put up in the semi-final, and we know what happened then. Ellyse Perry - finishing with 777 runs in the season - managed only one boundary today, which suggests that this isn't the most straightforward pitch, and more than that, heaps praise on the Brisbane Heat bowling attack. They realised that since they were playing on a used surface keeping the pace off was the way to go and it proved a fine tactic. Delissa Kimmince was excellent (2 for 25). So was Grace Harris (3 for 23) who was tipped as a once in a generation player ahead of the match. She'll be out there again to open the batting shortly and Dane van Niekerk, who smashed 32 off only 15 balls, will also be doing battle once more, this time with her very-hard-to-get-away left-arm spin.

GM Harris to Smith, OUT, stumped! Harris does well to keep tossing the ball up. Smith steps out, but she's reaching out for the ball, misses it and Mooney does the rest

GM Harris to Kapp, OUT, steps out to launch it over extra cover, but doesn't quite get so much on the ball. Kirby Short backtracks from cover and makes a tough catch look easy on a day her team-mates were dropping dollies

Kimmince to van Niekerk, SIX, launches it! The Sixers have got the T20 memo! It's a length ball. Its down leg. it's poor from Kimmince - the law of averages meant she was always going to bowl one bad ball in this exceptional spell - and van Niekerk punishes her with a full swing of the bat, sending it over square leg

Jonassen to Kapp, 1 run, dropped by long-on running in. It's Wolvaardt down there, settling underneath the mis-hit from countrymate Kapp, who is reaching in front of her for the ball, deceived by the lack of pace. The top edge results. Goes straight up. Simple chance but it goes down again

Kimmince to Burns, OUT, gooooneeee! And it's superb work from Mooney behind the stumps! Burns is spectacular with the sweeps - here she goes for the reverse, connecting very very well with the shot, but the wicketkeeper spots it, dives to her right and picks up a stunner. Heat are all over the Sixers!
