JOHN ANDREW: "Unclear whether it is a good score due to the difficult weather conditions and expect a close match. Very dark and windy so batting far from easy. " Yup, hopefully, we have a full game. Chase starting soon. Stay tuned.

Lauren Bell says she tried to keep it simple. That there was assistance from the pitch. It's not often a bowler's game so it was nice to have conditions in her favour. Says they have a strong batting line-up and while there is something in the pitch, she backs her batters to come through.

5:02pm: Knight made a good contribution in Spirit's first innings of the season. But Adams' four-for pulled things back to keep Spirit to 104. Bell made use of the big swing early on. Knocking off Harris in a cut-short innings was significant. Knight's strokeplay kept the hosts going, Gibson provided good support. But then Adams got Gibson with some luck, deceived Amelia, troubled and had Richa holed out, and ensured Knight didn't finish big. Scrivens and Holland ticked along to go take the score up to 104.
