As a result of this mighty win, Rockets jump to fourth on the points table with five points while Originals slide down to seven. We have more Hundred action in store with the men in action later on. Do join us for that fixture in about half an hour. Till the next time, take care, ciao!
5:03pm A thorough demolition at Trent Bridge as Trent Rockets manage to hang around in the women's Hundred. Originals are not completely out of the race yet but their net run rate has taken a beating. After the bowlers did their thing, Lee and Smith set about with the 108-run chase with utmost authority. After a couple of streaky boundaries, the pair punished all the bowlers for even the slightest mistakes. Smith couldn't stay unbeaten and fell to Ecclestone but Lee ensured that Rockets faced no further hiccups.
Bryony Smith, Player of the Match: "[Dottin's wicket] Never in doubt with Kingy under it. All part of the plan. Bowled a few tough sets, happy it is coming off. Different boundary sizes but happy it is coming off. We were taking each ball as it comes and not facing a lot of dots. Love playing here and winning in front of this crowd."
JOHN ANDREW: "What a demolition !!!!!!!"
