156 will be a tough chase. Can Rockets get there, maybe give Katherine a consolation at the end of her career? Tough ask but they'll want to do it dearly. Chase coming up, stay tuned.
Nadine de Klerk, 51* off 25: Once I got to the middle, I tried to get in. Was difficult to take the spinners on, lucky that I could get the pacers away. Want to end the season high, we want to play our best cricket. First-half went well, hope it continues in the second.
4:14pm: Highest team total in the Women's Hundred at the Oval! Their late push opened the floodgates, Matt Roller informs that, as per our ball-by-ball data, the 19th set from Stonehouse, which went for 27, was the most expensive across the three seasons of the women's Hundred. Suzie Bates said at the toss that they have been poor with the bat and wanted to set that right today, and boy, did they do it! Capsey was positive from the get go, but they lost wickets regularly. When Capsey's luck with the sweeps ended with the score on 62 for 4, things got dicey. Invincibles' spinners were good, Gordon was the pick of the bowlers with her two-fer. Alana King had an off day, and of course, Stonehouse was taken down in the end. Nadine revitalised the innings with powerful shots, around the dial, pumped sixes, hit gaps and ran hard. Griffith supported her well, and Oval have a strong total on the board.
