4:12pm An innings that never really took off. Wolvaardt fell early and Mooney, despite timing the ball much better than she has otherwise this season, not really able to cash in. Lamb and Bryce played decent cameos, although neither was able to give the innings the impetus they craved towards the end.
A lot of that was down to how London Spirit bowled. Their spinners were excellent, with Dean the standout. Glenn also bagged a couple of wickets, with Deepti picking another. They did give up a few runs at the back end but at this stage, they will feel confident of chasing this score down, despite the pitch offering some assistance to the spinners.
