Nathan Ellis: It's been a while since I've played for Australia. First time I'm here, tried to adapt and enjoy my game at the same time. (On finding success as a mystery bowler) You get hit for sixes and fours but you've gotta try and adapt quickly. What I like about a series like this it gives a chance to show your variations and there's a cat and mouse. Loving it, I try to keep evolving and keep my name in the Australian XI. Hope the team wraps it up. We're enjoying and expressing ourselves. Wicket offered a bit more today, with the new ball. Not sure if that's because of the overheads. But as Markram showed, if you get set you can cash in and we hope to do that tonight.

7:31pm: High fives from Marsh to his team-mates. They restricted South Africa to 164 but that score didn't look as likely, especially after the mini-collapse post powerplay. The early momentum built by Bavuma with his 17-ball 35 seemed to have been lost. Ellis and Abbott were getting the better of the batters. But Stubbs made a proactive 27 as Markram bode time. Stubbs' wicket led to Coetzee falling not long after. Markram took the hosts to the edge of 150 with his 49. Ellis and Abbott bowled well at the end but a few late runs from Ngidi took the hosts to what seems to be a score around par.

Ellis to Coetzee, OUT, Undone by the slower one. Ellis follows up the searing yorker with a full and wide one, Coetzee was way too early on the slash. It was top edged and went right up, Marsh takes a dolly at cover.
