4.42pm Innings break Australia post 392 for 8. They might be a touch disappointed given where they were placed but it's still an outstanding score. It's Australia's third highest total in men's ODIs and the fourth highest conceded by South Africa. Marnus Labuschagne and David Warner were phenomenal with centuries apiece. Marnus Labuschagne: "It was nice to carry that momentum on after the way Travis Head and Dave started. The scoreboard says it's a better pitch. I still think it's a little bit two-paced and up and down. The dew might settle it down. I'm glad we've got that many on the board. I've made a few slight technical changes that I started in England. A little bit more open in my stance. And then just more intent. Looking to hit boundaries and looking to score, rather than just lay off and manipulate from the start. It's nice that it's started so well."

Travis Head and Josh Inglis both played well for their half centuries. Tabraiz Shamsi deserves a lot of credit for South Africa's fightback. They were staring 400 plus in the face and he caused two mini-collapses with some excellent bowling to halt Australia twice and finished with 4 for 61.

It's still a monster chase. Ekanth will be back for the start of it.

Afeef: "Someone in the SA squad needs to do the Jacques Kallis speech of 2006"

smug: "Ain't Aus's long batting lineup not really working out here? A very Aus like Collapse this. " As the roller in the last over proved, the pitch has slowed up a lot.
