7:43pm: Decent recovery for Afghanistan. They got 62 in the last five. Nabi back in his saviour mode, Omarzai was brilliant with his 18-ball 33. But the fact is that Afghanistan were 52 for 4 in 7.4 overs, it was a consequence of the big shots not coming off in the powerplay. Taskin, Mustafizur, and Shoriful were disciplined with the new ball. Mehidy and Shakib were good early on but the latter got a bit of tap late in the innings. Afghanistan looked to keep going throughout but Najib settling in during the middle overs helped them set a late launching pad. Three 14-run overs towards the end helped them go past 150. Bangladesh still in with a good chance. Chase coming up soon.

Momen: "154 is a reasonable score. Bangladesh have to play well to win this match."

Mustafizur Rahman to Mujeeb Ur Rahman, 2 byes, Almost lazy running but the batters get two byes as the ball squirts past short third off the keeper's gloves

W
Mustafizur Rahman to Rashid Khan, OUT, Another brilliant catch, this time from Shanto, running in from long-on! Slower ball around off, Rashid cleared his front leg and tried to mow it over wide long-on. Sliced it high, Shanto sprinted from the deep and took an athletic slide-on catch.

1
Mustafizur Rahman to Mohammad Nabi, 1 run, Potential run-out chance missed. Litton charged in, dove full length and tried to underarm it as Rashid tried to sneak in a run. But missed the direct hit. Yorker-length ball, Nabi tried to launch it down the ground. Being sent upstairs for something. Third umpire says it's an umpire referral for a bump ball. Not obvious. Wow, that almost looks like an optical illusion from front on. Looks clearer from side-on that it did bounce. Nabi tried to launch the full ball down the ground. He was lunging down, which made the full ball look like a yorker

4
Mustafizur Rahman to Mohammad Nabi, FOUR, Nails the pull for a one-bounce four to deep square. Fifty for Nabi. Slower bouncer is at head-height, Nabi had made room and read it like a book written in Comic Sans

3
Mustafizur Rahman to Rashid Khan, 3 runs, Nabi goes for an extra overthrow and might be run out. No, Litton didn't pick up the ball!.

W
Shakib Al Hasan to Azmatullah Omarzai, OUT, Taskin runs back from short third and takes a snorter! Great cameo by Omarzai. Made room again and tried to go over midwicket. The top edge was found off the slog sweep, went miles in the air. Taskin was running after turning 180-degrees clockwise, kept his eyes on the ball and managed to hold the ball after his wrist hit the ground.

Shakib Al Hasan to Azmatullah Omarzai, 2 runs, Full toss it darted and is punched back past the bowler. Good fielding in the deep. Long-on and long-off were converging but one of them slid across and stopped it.

Shakib Al Hasan to Azmatullah Omarzai, SIX, Biggest six of the day probably, smoked over wide long-on for a huge six. Length outside off, Omarzai got on one knee and slog swept it with power
18.1
6
Shakib Al Hasan to Azmatullah Omarzai, SIX, Shakib's brave by keeping it slow but the length is too short. Sits up perfectly for Omarzai's flat-batted slap over mid-off for an 86-metre six

Spin at the death, why not! Skipper brings himself on with the partnership up to 42 off 25. Around

Mustafizur Rahman to Mohammad Nabi, 2 runs, Nabi was waiting with his upper-body weight lunging forward but saw the ball was around a back of length and slow. So he straightened his back and tucked it into the midwicket pocket for a smart two.

6
Mustafizur Rahman to Azmatullah Omarzai, SIX, Not sure how much Omarzai got there but just clears long-off. He waited for the slower one just outside off, the bat turned as he launched it with the front leg out the way. Somehow powered it through
