Akash: "... and Kevin Sinclair in not in the WI squad for the WCQ!"

Selwin: "I had great aspirations for this game based on how it started. UAE did a "West Indies" against the West Indies. Let's see how the second innings goes with this WI young team. "

7.05pm Wow, what a collapse. UAE were looking so good for a score well in excess of 250, but the West Indies spinners have put on a show to bundle the hosts out for 184 in 36.1 overs. They were 142 for 2 at one stage, with Vriitya Anand going strong, but two needless run outs, and some excellent bowling in the middle by the spinners meant UAE were found wanting. Kevin Sinclair was brilliant, picking up 4 for 24, and even brilliant were his celebrations as he brought out some perfect somersaults. Yannic Cariah picked up two wickets while Roston Chase, the stand-in captain, put the brakes on the scoring. Aravind and Muhammad Waseem got UAE off to a flyer, while Rameez Shahzad also played his part. But, barring these three, none of the batters could find their feet. West Indies will fancy there chances of a clean sweep.

Cariah to Junaid Siddique, OUT, Cleaned up by Cariah and UAE are nine down! Tossed up on off and middle. Junaid sees it up and his eyes light up. Looks for a massive hoick, but the ball dips on him as he does not reach the pitch of the ball. He misses and sees his stumps in a mess

Cariah to Meiyappan, OUT, on a length and rips away past the outside edge near the shoulder of the bat. Another stumping chance? They've gone to the TV umpire. Touch and go once again. Charles doesn't whip the bails off in a flash, but he's still quick enough to catch Karthik short. Sammy has enjoyed that. Karthik is perplexed. He goes for a seven-ball duck and that's drinks in Sharjah
