3.29pm An eventful last ball, which can't be said of the rest of the innings. India elected to bowl in helpful conditions, with the ball hooping around and the spinners getting turn and bounce. The openers added 27 runs for the opening wicket, as Bangladesh reached 34 for 1 in the powerplay. But, once the spinners came into play, the boundaries dried up. Vastrakar bowled four miserly overs for 16 with a wicket, while Deepti's four cost just 14, even though she was unable to strike. Bangladesh's innings went nowhere in the middle overs and all they could muster was 114. The surface is doing a bit, no doubt, but India will back themselves to chase this down.

Vastrakar to Shorna Akter, 3 runs, Short of a length ball into the body and the innings ends with a comedy of errors! The ball goes to the on-side where Bhatia gives chase. She fires a throw even with the batters showing no intention of going for a second. The throw misses the stumps and goes towards the cover fielder. During that time, the duo take the run, where another throw is fired, which once again misses the non-striker's stumps. And they take three runs, eventually.
