Are UAE short? Will Oman get a back-to-back in or not? The chase will provide the answer, it'll start soon and Abhimanyu will be here to bring the action.
Vriitya Aravind: Pitch was much slower than the one we played against Sri Lanka. Rameez and I spoke that we wanted to bat till 25 and go up later. We had a mini-collapse but Aayan finished well. I think we are 25-30 runs short but I have faith in our bowlers to come and do well. Wickets (he repeats four times) are the key for us to win.
12:29pm: Oman are in good spirit as they get into a huddle. And while Aayan's 58* at over a run a ball took them to a respectable score, Oman will be happy. Their key bowlers were among the wickets. Odedra hurried batters in terms of pace and time with his darts. Ayaan Khan lent reliable support. For UAE, Aravind and Shahzad consolidated after the loss of their openers early in the innings. But they couldn't up the rate and the spinners strangled in the middle overs. But the 17-year-old Aayan Afzal Khan squeezed, drove, and powered runs to all corners to get UAE to 227.
