Dave: "Once again, Scotland's middle order saves the day for them"
Sonam: "What a finish from Scotland. They just took game away from UAE."
12:48pm Wow. Scotland have made quite a recovery to get to 282 after being reduced to 48-4 at one stage. Berrington was front and centre of everything good Scotland did in this innings. He soaked up the pressure at the start, bided his time and then opened up his shoulders as the game progressed. He found allies in Greaves, Leask and Watt and those contributions have meant that Scotland now have a very defendable total on the board.
UAE, on the other hand, would be upset with how they let the game drift. Their new-ball bowlers were superb, asking probing questions and picking up wickets. Siddique finished with three scalps, with Naseer also accounting for two Scotland batters. Towards the end, though, they could not curb the run-flow, and they now have a significant score to chase. It is not totally beyond them but considering where Scotland were at one stage, you feel they will be the happier side at the break!
Mark Watt: (On Berrington's knock) Superb innings by the skipper. Fantastic effort from him. (On the score and if he would have taken it at the start of the innings) I would have bit your hand off. It is still doing a bit with the older ball and it is a very competitive total. UAE are a good batting team and we have to bowl well to restrict them. Richie is one of the best batters in the world when he gets in. I am really happy (for him). Using the left-right combination worked well for us. (On what Scotland need to do with the ball) Keeping the stumps in play at all costs, straight fields and just do not over-complicate. A little bit of golf yesterday and that has helped my batting (smiles).
to 282!

Can Berrington finish with a flourish?
280 is just 13 runs away. Can Scotland get there? Mustafa to bowl the final over. Around the wicket to Berrington
