6.27pm India finished just above Ireland in a rain-hit opening game. They've now thumped Ireland under glorious sunshine in the second match to wrap up the series 2-0. Prasidh Krishna hit speeds north of 140kph and produced a double-strike in his first over, in the powerplay. Jasprit Bumrah was also terrific with his yorkers and slower variations. Wristspinner Ravi Bishnoi was among the wickets as well as India never let Ireland get away, despite Balbirnie's 72. Arshdeep, btw, became the second-fastest seamer to 50 T20I wickets. Do stick with us for the post-match presentation.

That's all we have for you from this game. Many thanks for your company. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off on the behalf of Abhimanyu Bose and Chandan Duorah. Take it easy

Balbirnie: We know they're a skilled bowling attack and we have to be at our best. Kind of disappointed and it got away from us. It was a shame, but we're playing pretty good cricket. Guys go out and try to hit boundaries - some days it comes off and on others, they get caught on the boundary. Friday was a bizarre situation, we ran them close last year. We feel we can beat them.

Rinku Singh, Player of the Match: I was confident and trying to use the IPL experience. Was trying to take the game deep. Been playing cricket for ten years and getting rewarded for the hard work. Happy to get the Man-of-the-Match award in the first game I've batted in international cricket.

Stirling, Ireland captain: I felt we had chances and we didn't quite take it. But we have a lot of positives from the 40 overs. Once their batters got in, they got going and were very difficult to bowl to. We got some errors to work on and improve on. If we can be positive, we can turn it around and get the win.

Bumrah, India captain: Feeling good. Today, I could run in and bowl a little faster. We wanted to put runs on the board and we thought the pitch will get slower. It did get slower. It's sometimes difficult to pick a XI because all of them are confident and all of them play well in the nets. As a captain, I couldn't ask anything more. All of us had the same dream to play for India and I don't think too much about expectations. If you play with that baggage, you're under pressure. You have to learn to manage the expectations and keep it on the side. Happy to be back and couldn't have asked for anything more.

KSG: "Not a single boundary from 4 overs of Bumrah. That's top class. Along with that 2 wickets."

Kannan: "Currently most players have to deal with all sorts of injuries. A decade back, players could attempt learning a second skill. Today, they are thankful if they are able to complete a season without injury. "

Arun: "Reg 2011 world cup, why no one is mentioning about Yusuf pathan? He was part of the squad and a handy bowler too.. infact 3 were fighting for middle order spot.. yuvi Raina Yusuf."

Bumrah to Little, 4 byes, slower offcutter, dips, creates distance between bat and pitch of the ball and beats the batter comfortably. Beats Samson as well and rolls away to the boundary. Bumrah finishes off the game with a wicket-maiden. What a bowler!
