8.15pm Australia lose ten wickets for 93, after looking at one stage as if 250 was on the cards, particularly when Sam Curran's first over was blazed for 30 by Travis Head. It was the spinners that turned things around, which augurs well for Adam Zampa, but Jofra Archer, Curran and Saqib Mahmood closed things out wonderfully in the final overs.

But the main man was Liam Livingstone with 3 for 22: "Pretty good comeback, bowled well in the middle and some pretty good yorkers at the end. We want to try and take wickets, struggled in the first six, but dragged it back in the middle. I didn't think I'd bowl at one point, when Bethell came on, Rash is always reliable, nice to be back enjoying my cricket. Looks a good pitch, gripped a little for spin, hopefully the dew makes it better under lights."

JC: "After five overs and being seventy-odd without loss, I genuinely believed that Australia would better my PlayStation Brian Lara Cricket T20 high score of 302/3 (glorious 68-ball 201 not out by Ali Brown)."

Pranshu: "The same batter facing 2 hattrick balls in the same innings. This might be a first" Indeed. Hazlewood played the second one well, not so much the first!

Gnasher is gagging to take this on, he'll be back for the chase shortly.

Archer to Zampa, 1 run, OUT, Full and straight, muscled out to deep cover, a fast flat return from Cox, and this is surely out. Yep, gone by a foot, gathered on the bounce by Salt who flattens the stumps, as Zampa hurries back for the second run

Archer to Hazlewood, 1 run, round the wicket, so close! Archer spears it in at middle-and-leg, perfect yorker length, and he's only saved by Hazlewood's back-foot caution, he knew it was coming for his blockhole, and dug it out well

Now then Jof... hat-trick ball with Josh Hazlewood on strike. Full and straight?

Mahmood to Hazlewood, no run, yikes, so close! Looking for a clip to leg, and somehow Saqib beats Hazlewood around his front pad, but past his leg stump by a whisker!

Hat-trick ball for Saqib... he and Archer are in competition for the honour!

Mahmood to Green, OUT, Team hat-trick! Saqib copies Archer's direct approach, impeccable length again on the yorker, slingier and swingier, wrecking middle and leg. Green is gone, and from 118 for 2 in 11th, Australia are in danger of being bowled out!

Curran to Green, 1 leg bye, another doodlebug from Curran, no pace on the ball as it phuts into the pads, and deflects to the off-side

Saifi: "Where's Archer? Why does Salt want Aus to post over 200!??" Spin has worked very well so far... I suspect Jof isn't far away now
