8.50pm: An unbroken stand of 71 off 35 between Tahlia McGrath and Grace Harris - a record for Australia's sixth wicket - does the damage at the end. England had battled back during the middle overs, after Beth Mooney had again set the innings up. But, in a familiar story, dropped catches undermined their efforts, as Harris in particular put her foot down through the closing stages to allow Australia to post what looks an above-par score. Only twice has a team made more at Manuka Oval, and England will have to break their own record for the highest successful chase on the ground if they are to prevent Australia winning the series at the earliest point possible. Josh: "It is a little unfair that Gardner doesn't play and Harris is the replacement …. A replacement that will bat at a higher SR than the whole England side …."
David : "First Australia hitting out, then England fighting back, then Australia again. As a noted commentator once said, that was an innings of three halves."
