3:14pm Bangladesh have huffed and puffed their way to 116, which might not seem much but could be a very good total on this surface. Saif rode his luck at times, especially with his running, but did well to hang around till the end and get Bangladesh past the 110-run mark. Afif was also sprightly in his 14-ball cameo, with Shahadat and Jaker playing their part late in the innings.
Malaysia, on the other hand, would be pleased with how they bowled. All 20 overs were bowled by spin and for large parts, they made the most of the conditions on offer. Pavandeep triggered a powerplay collapse, and only gave away 12 runs in his four overs. The rest of the spinners, barring Unni, were also economical and they have restricted Bangladesh to a total that requires them to go at less than run-a-ball. Can Malaysia chase this down and stun Bangladesh? Join us for the run-chase in a bit!
