7.14pm Righto, so an innings that ebbed and flowed all the way through ends with South Africa scoring 271 for 9. They started poorly, losing three wickets for 39. Then came a big stand of 152 runs between Ryan Rickelton and Tristan Stubbs. It seemed South Africa were on course for 300 then, but both batters fell one after the other with another collapse ensuing. Fortuin and Ngidi then scored some vital runs in the end to take South Africa to a fighting total. For Ireland, Mark Adair picked four wickets while Craig Young picked three. Can Ireland chase this down? Join Abhimanyu in a bit to find out.

Simon: "Good comeback from SA but still 30 below par, Ireland will fancy their chances of chasing this down "

Ryan Rickelton: We were under pressure early on. The ball moved around a lot. We [himself and Stubbs] got out when we should have kicked on. But again, the tail wagged nicely to get us to a competitive score, I think. I was quite keen to take the positive option but when you lose wickets, you have to go into the Test mode and be smart. We found a few gears along the way. Found a good partnership and hopefully will be enough. There was some pace and bounce early. Hopefully, our bowlers can extract the same conditions. We will be backing ourselves.

Adair to Ngidi, 1 run, Is there another missed chance? Yeah, looks like. Slower back of a length ball outside off, he slices it and McBrine at short third misjudges it

Adair to Ngidi, SIX, WHAT A STRIKE! Slower length ball right in his arc on off, Ngidi lines him up and absolutely smokes him over deep midwicket. That went 92 m.

Adair to Ngidi, 2 runs, Is that the fifth? No, the mid-off fielder misjudges it completely. Slower length ball on off. He looks to go downtown, gets it right of the toe of the bat as the ball balloons straight up. The fielder misses it
