There was dew from the start of the first innings, that is likely to get more. SA will need early wickets if they are to make a fist of this. Will be a challenge, India ahead currently.

KB: "only one bad over by Harshit & one bad ball that went for six from Hardik - otherwise Indian bowling was pretty much 10/10."

Prakash: "Varun - 2/11Kuldeep - 2/12Arshdeep - 2/13"

Reju: "What an innings from Markram under the circumstances"

8:43pm India bossed the innings. Starting with Arshdeep swinging and nipping it around early. So did Harshit. SA were 30 for 4 in seven overs and were never allowed to recover despite Markram's fifty. He, Ferreira (20) and Nortje (12) were the only ones to get to double figures. Hardik came on and did well. Dube got one to nip in and bowled better than his 1-21 suggests. Varun was brilliant, Kuldeep took two late wickets.

Arshdeep Singh to Markram, OUT, Anticlimactic end to Markram's excellent innings, he's on one knee looking at the pitch after nicking off. Seam slanted to first slip, full ball away with the angle outside off. Lofted extra cover drive on one knee was on. Like the last ball he faced, Markram got his front leg out the way to open his stance and make room. Works against him as he toes it to the keeper. Arshdeep's angle doing the trick

Reju: "All the good work done in earlier overs is undone in last 2 overs" As Sid Monga says (given I recall it right), a lot of death bowling is lottery
