Shiva Jayaraman, senior stats analyst: The last occasion before this when a team batting first in ODIs in England played the entire 50 overs without managing 250 was South Africa against Pakistan at Edgbaston in the Champions Trophy in 2017. Out of the 21 instances since then when teams batting first have played full 50 overs, they have managed to post a total in excess of 300 on 16 occasions. Have South Africa put up a below par total here or is there more to the conditions than is apparent?

Heinrich Klaasen joins us on ESPNcricinfo Match Day, along with Daren Ganga and Ajit Agarkar, to break down South Africa's innings for us.

It's not just in cricket and football that the Indian national teams are in action these days. The Indian hockey team start with their Series Finals campaign at home tomorrow, in an eight-team field that also includes South Africa. watch out for India's star striker and one-time teenage prodigy Mandeep Singh, no relation to the cricketer, of course!

Jasprit Bumrah tells the broadcasters: "Sometimes when there's some help on the pitch, you don't try to do too much. You wait for the batsmen to make mistakes. We've had a good preparation period, and that's helped us. As the ball becomes older, it (the pitch) flattens out a bit. So hopefully, we will be able to chase it down."

2.10pm India need 228 to win this, and register back-to-back World Cup wins against a nation they had lost three to begin with. India will be pleased with the discipline they showed with the ball right through that innings, with Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar setting the tone right from the outset. The spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal were the ones who really caused the Protean wheels to come off. Chris Morris and Kagiso Rabada have at least given themselves something to bowl with. Shashank will be on with the chase soon. See you in a bit
