WATCH - Van der Dussen leads the way for South Africa with 50 (Australia, UK and SEA only)
Around this time last year Rassie van der Dussen said it was his dream to play for SA and he was ready to make peace with it even if it didn't turn into reality. He has made a good fifty on a tricky track today to give SA reason to dream at the World Cup. A lot of feedback about van der Dussen's strike-rate, but remember this is a slow pitch where quite a few balls are holding up and Ngidi's re-entry will bolster the attack.
Steynfan: "Proteas gonna dearly miss another spinner on this track. Markram may well have to bowl some overs just in case!"
Snow leopard : "Good to see Hashim Amla get out of the rut. He's been over shadowed by van der Dussen but he did play a significant role in stabilizing the innings in the beginning."
Claire : "That drop by Ferguson could prove crucial. Not sure Rabada could have brought them there. Great innings by the Raz! "
Nick T: "As a Kiwi I'm loving this "low" total, but still nervous about the chase. Early wickets for SA could be killers"
Viv: "NZ is very similar to Bangladesh. Just like Shakib-Mushfiqur, they're very dependent on Kane-Ross. Fielding is were the Black Caps edge Bangladesh. Unfortunately not today."
3.33pm A pretty good finish for South Africa. They've made 75 in the last ten overs. "A bit of a sticky wicket, there's been a lot of rain," van der Dussen says. "We know it's not a 300 wicket. It's a try and get to 250-260 kind of wicket. That's what we set out to, and we got to 241."
Will that be enough, though? The ball is stopping on the batsmen, the new ball swung for New Zealand - and South Africa will hope it swings for them too - and the slower balls are really sticking on the pitch. I'd say it's about 60-40 in New Zealand's favour at the moment. Join us in half an hour for the chase. Back soon.
Third man, fine leg, deep point, deep square leg, and long-on are the boundary fielders.
Final over coming up, and it's Ferguson to finish. Can South Africa get to 240?

Third man and fine leg are up now for Morris.
Brilliant over from Ferguson, only two off it plus the wicket of Phehlukwayo. Can Henry follow up with another good'un?

Van der Dussen is ready to face again.
Yoga: "I always felt that Miller is like Raina for India, comes to bat often after 30th over sometimes after 40, has to keep the run rate right from the 1st ball, when trying to accelerate gets out mostly in 30s and some 50s and rarely gets a big one. And not the least a left handed and similar batting position." -- Pretty good comparison. Both have their technical limitations, but it's a difficult job and they've often done a very good job of it.
