5:58pm A superb comeback by India after an iffy start, and they have restricted Bangladesh to 256, which seemed quite improbable when Bangladesh had raced away to 90-0 after 14 overs. Tanzid did the bulk of the heavy lifting early, taking down the India bowlers towards the back end of the powerplay. Litton then grew into his own and kept things ticking, getting to his fifty off 62 balls.

As has been the case this tournament, though, India's spinners stifled the opposition in the middle overs. Kuldeep got the initial breakthrough, with Jadeja then picking up Shanto soon after. Jadeja then accounted for Litton and set in motion a mini-collapse. Mahmudullah salvaged the innings a little towards the end but could not get his team past the 260-run mark.

While that total is not huge by any means, it gives the Bangladesh bowlers something to bowl at. There is still uncertainty over how this pitch will play under lights. Bangladesh, thus, are not totally out of this contest, although at the half-way break, India would definitely be the happier of the two sides. Join us in about half an hour for the run-chase.

Ravindra Jadeja: (On the score) The wicket looks very good. There was no turn on the wicket. If we play simple and normal cricket, we should do it (chase the total). (On the catch celebration) That celebration was for our fielding coach. After every game, we get the best fielder award so I was telling him I am also here (for the award). (Bowling plans) You have to bowl at the stumps. You cannot bowl here and there. Bowl tight lines and according to the field.

Bumrah to Shoriful Islam, SIX, creamed over extra cover for a maximum! Errs in length and this lands in the slot outside off. Shoriful gives himself ample room, gets his hands through the ball and sends this soaring over the fence!

Bumrah to Mustafizur Rahman, 1 run, banged in short on leg stump. The ball keeps following the batter outside leg and in the end, he takes evasive action, almost playing a forehand down the line to mid off

Bumrah to Mahmudullah, OUT, cleans him up with a corker! A very similar delivery, fired into the blockhole. This one, if anything, is fuller on middle and off and Mahmudullah cannot get his bat down in time. Breezes past the bat and smashes into the stumps. Mahmudullah's valuable knock comes to an end, with Bangladesh still two runs away from 250!
