Sumair: "Now the Question is.! How much time Pakistan will get to chase.. It is a golden chance to maintain run rate.." Indeed. We'll find out soon. In the meantime, enjoy the show.

Hamid: "It's difficult to catch up with the NRR in 50 over format but good chance for Pakistan to gain some ground and try to chase it down within 30 overs"

Ummer: "I still back Bangladesh to win as they have good pace attack.."

Andy C: "Bangladesh remains the only team yet to post a century partnership at this World Cup. Also averaging 2.29 wickets lost in the first powerplay, which is more than double the average of the top 5 teams in the table

Haris Rauf: Brilliant performance. Wicket was slow, we tried to bowl wicket to wicket, the plan worked. Ball was reversing on both sides, we discussed how to take wickets. Ball reversing helped. Shaheen is in a different class. He takes wickets with the new ball every time. It puts the opposition under pressure.

5:32pm Things finally fall into place with the ball for Pakistan with the ball. Arguably too late but better than never. Shaheen was on top with the new ball. He trapped Tanzid lbw in the first over to become the third fastest bowler to get 100 wickets in men's ODIs. In his second, he had Shanto clip a ball off the pads straight to the fielder and Bangladesh, at 6 for 2, were cornered from the get-go. Iftikhar bowled well too. Haris conceding early boundaries wasn't a good omen but he came back in style. Litton was the only top-order bat to get out of the powerplay but was a victim of a short dismissal. He tried to turn the ball around the corner and leading edged the ball to midwicket. Mahmudullah offered him support and was steering Bangladesh towards safety. He allowed Shakib, who tried his best to work through a rough patch, to buy some time. But a jaffa from Shaheen, that straightened off the pitch knocked over Mahmudullah. Shakib pushed to 43 with Pakistan getting into the tail but fell to the short ball again. A couple of bonus boundaries took Bangladesh over 200 but not much write home about for them as Wasim, finding reverse swing, ripped out the tail without fuss.

Mohammad Wasim to Mustafizur Rahman, OUT, Yorker trickles off the boot onto the stumps! Yorker on the boot, it was just outside leg but reverse swing was bringing it closer to the stumps. The Fizz's feet, in reflex, followed the line and he tried to tuck it square. Flicked it onto his pads and the ball rolled uncontrollably off the pads to the hit timber
