1.5 But Southee strikes the very next ball! Nissanka looks to drive this on the up, but it shapes away late outside off and catches the edge. Latham makes no mistake this time 3/1
9.3 And now Perera departs! This was not quite there to drive, Perera goes hard at this and only manages to get under it. It goes straight up in the air and Santner circles under it around cover and takes well judged catch as the ball fell over his shoulder. Sri Lanka in all sorts of trouble now. 70/5
4.1 Mendis' poor run continues! Length ball pitching on leg and angling away. Mendis looks to pick this up over midwicket but only ends up getting leading edge that flies towards third man, who runs in and completes a good catch 30/2
4.4 Make that 51! Pitches on middle on a good length and seams away a touch. Forces Sadeera to push at this and it induces a thick edge that Daryl Mitchell gobbles up at first slip. Sri Lanka in a lot of bother early here 32/3
8.2 Boult has another! Confident appeal for leg before from Boult, but nothing given by the umpire. Boult convinces Williamson to review though as he thinks the two noises were two pad noises instead of the bat. This was nipping in off a good length and struck Asalanka on the back pad. And Boult might be right here, there is no bat and that's three reds! Terrific review 70/4
16.4 Lovely delivery and a just reward for Santner. Hangs it out there on a length. Bowls it with a slightly side-arm action. Deceives Mathews in flight. The flight draws him forward but the ball dips and lands on a length around off. Mathews lunges to defend but a thick outside edge lobs towards slip, where Mitchell does no mistake. Sri Lanka continue to slide 104/6
18.3 Another one for Santner. Another lovely low catch from Mitchell. Fires it in on a length outside off at 81.6kph. Because the lines of the previous deliveries were in line of the stumps, Dhananjaya was enticed into playing at that. But this was outside off. And Santner's height gave him the extra lift. Dhananjaya fends at that because of the bounce and gets a thick outside edge to slip, who dives to his right and pouches that 105/7
23.3 Edged and gone? Joel Wilson raises the finger. The change in angle works for Ferguson and New Zealand. Bowls it full and fast just outside off, cross-seam as well. Karunaratne goes for the drive away from the body but is never really in a good position - partly because his weight is on the back foot expecting a short ball. He only manages a thick outside edge, no error from Latham 113/8

32.1 And a wicket straight after drinks! Looks like a change in bowling (and comms) has done the trick! This was tossed up outside off, and Chameera just slices this straight to backward point 128/9
46.4 And that is that. Latham holds on to a sharp catch and Sri Lanka have been bowled out for 171. Lands it on a length around middle and leg, Madushanka goes back to defend but gets a feather behind. End of the stubborn 43-run partnership for the last wicket 171/10

12.2 And Sri Lanka finally have a breakthrough! Skips down the track, looking to take Chameera on. Looks to go down the ground, but gets the inside half of the bat straight to short midwicket 86/1
13.3 And both the openers are gone, just like that! This one was a bit slower through the air and Rachin looks to cross bat this off the front foot over mid-on but ends up only finding the man in the ring 88/2
18.2 Chopped on! Length ball at 122.8kph, cross-seam too, outside off. Williamson hops and looks to cut it through the off side but gets a bottom edge onto the stumps. Throws his head back in disappointment and trudges back 130/3
22.4 Terrific diving catch by Asalanka! Another length ball, slower one again. Mitchell looks to go big but is early into the stroke. Ends up slicing it in the air and towards deep cover-point. Asalanka covers a lot of ground to his left and takes it with a full-stretch dive 162/5
20.3 Horrible mix-up. Chapman has to sacrifice but he is making his displeasure felt. Fuller on leg, Chapman looks to go big over the on side but misses, and the ball goes off his back leg towards short third. Mitchell calls for the run, Chapman responds initially before saying no. Mitchell, meanwhile, is almost at the other end and crosses Chapman over. The throw is a calm one, straight to Mathews, who does the rest. It was Mitchell's call and Chapman has to depart. Hits the LED board outside the boundary with the bat as he walks back 145/4
