Dan: "At his present form, this was a bad decision to give the last over to Tye. Beherendoff would have been a better choice"

8:46pm A finish that Thunder will take. It's a slow, low, pitch and they lost both wickets and runs because of it. Not often that Buttler makes a fifty and ends up with a striker rate of 101. Callum Ferguson really injected the pace into this with an expertly crafted 30-ball 42, and Chris Green's cameo at the end pushes them past 140, which is a decent total here. Decent bowling outing for all of Scorchers' bowlers, with the exception of Tye who struggled with his lengths and was quite often on the short side. Agar's two wickets didn't let Thunder build on their start and Jhye Richardson was superb in going for just 19. See you soon for the chase.

Tye to Sandhu, FOUR, slower ball at a length, wide outside off. Long-off completely misses this! A swat from Sandhu that is lobbed up at NCN at long-off. He runs in and...lets it go. It was to his left and he didn't know

Richardson to Buttler, OUT, hit wicket! That full slower ball is so slow, Buttler's swing on the reverse-sweep has come extremely early. It's longer as a result, because he still has eyes on the ball. Makes connection with it too, off the inside edge. It rolls through to the keeper but he hits the stumps with that same edge
